Our school

From 02 July to 06th July at the General Tadeusz Kosciuszko Military Academy of Land Forces and in the Training Center „Wysoki Kamień" the 4th edition of the International Peace Support Operations Course took place.

During this year our Academy hosted 40 cadets and 15 academic lecturers and instructors from 6 countries: Theresan Military Academy (Austria), University of Defence (Czech Republic), WSOWL (Poland), Nicolae Balcescu Land Forces Academy (Romania), United States Military Academy West Point (USA), Army Reserve Officers Training Corps (USA), National University of Public Service (Hungary) and W.I.R SOF-MED.- CENTER and MALF – Institute of Command (Poland) in persons: MAJ Marcin Bielewicz, MAJ Dariusz Becmer, MAJ Mirosław Halot, CPT Gustaw Michalewski, CPT Artur Zielichowski and CPT Dawid Ząbek. During the course, theoretical and practical modules has been occurred in the Military Academy of Land Forces in Wroclaw and the Training Center „Wysoki Kamień" in Szklarska Poreba. A theoretical training included series of lectures concerning i.e. international peace operations, land navigation, military decision making process used during the peace support and stabilization operations, mine awareness and the first aid on the battlefield. Practical modules encompassed peace support simulation exerrcise on the Virtual Battlespace Simulator, Combat Life Support Course, negotiations and media awareness, small unit TTPs during peace support operations, SERE and MEDEVAC. The closing ceremony took place on 06th July in the Training Center „Wysoki Kamień" in Szklarska Poreba. During this ceremony MAJ Piotr Pietrakowski, an organizer and coordinator of the course, from the Institute of Command, presented certificates of participation to cadets, lectures and instructors. The entire course was conducted in English.
